What trip plan makes the most sense?

I'm debating hard between two different trip plans for an upcoming trip this June. I'm looking for help as to what plan makes the most sense. If there's a third option that would be even better - let me know!

Some context:

• We bought annual passes this year and are visiting four times (April, June, September, December)
• We're in our mid-20's, traveling without kids, and this will be our fourth Disney trip ever!
• For this trip, we rented DVC points in a Savannah-view studio at Animal Kingdom Lodge (June 3-7)
• We have ADRs for 'Plan A' booked now, but the 'Plan B' ADRs appear to be available
• Keys to the Kingdom Tour is locked in for Sunday morning

Given the context above, the plans are as follows...

PLAN A
Saturday:

• Flight arrives Saturday ~9AM
  
• Saturday morning/afternoon at Animal Kingdom (FP+)
• Travel to Hollywood Studios for dinner reservation at 5PM at SciFi Dine In
• Stay at DHS through Fantasmic!

Sunday:

• Bus to Magic Kingdom for Keys to the Kingdom tour w/ lunch at Tomorrowland Terrace
  
• Express bus to Epcot for the afternoon (FP+)
• Express bus to Animal Kingdom for the evening
• Enjoy dinner at Avatar Quick Service
• Experience one of the Avatar attractions, enjoy the area at night

Monday:

• Bus to Magic Kingdom for Be Our Guest PPO ADR (8am)
  
• Enjoy rope drop attractions and stay until lunchtime
• Express bus to EPCOT for the rest of the day (FP+)
• Enjoy dinner ADR at Chefs de France (4:30)
• Illuminations at 9PM

Tuesday:

• Bus to Magic Kingdom for Be Our Guest PPO ADR (8am)
  
• Enjoy rope drop attractions and stay through the afternoon (FP+)
• Enjoy dinner ADR at Hoop Dee Doo Revue (4:00)
• Happily Ever After at 9PM

Wednesday:

• Bus to Animal Kingdom for Rope Drop
  
• Hit one or both Avatar attractions between Rope Drop at FP+
• Grab lunch at Flame Tree BBQ
• Bus back to resort around 4:30 to catch Magical Express

With Plan A, it looks like you are going to spend a lot of time waiting on and being on buses. I agree that Plan B looks less hectic, but I am the person who always buys the Park Hoppers and never uses them! lol

Thanks. I originally made Plan A a while back - but as the dates got closer, park hours changed and things like Happily Ever After/Avatar got announced.

Today I just was looking at the plan and kind of decided to go back to the drawing board. I think we will probably go with a variation of Plan B. I may give up on seeing Animal Kingdom at night and instead do the Highway In The Sky Dine Around on Tuesday evening.

They both sound like too much hopping to me. Almost every day you've got 2 or more locations.

In each plan you have 3 days at the AK. I wouldn't do that personally. Maybe I'd take Plan B but drop AK from Tuesday. You've already got 2 mornings, 6 FP+'s to use there. Or take Plan A and drop AK from Sunday. This day sounds too busy, doing MK-EC-AK in one day.

Are you trying to get an AK night? If so then do one of your PPO MK mornings followed by simply the AK after. Maybe Sunday. Do your tour at the MK, then go straight to the AK with FastPasses. This frees up your Sat morning. Sat morning can be EC, which combines well with HS because you can walk EC-HS.

Then you've got an EC morning (Sat) and night (Mon), an AK night (Sun) and morning (Wed), a non-hopping simple all-day at the MK (Tue) which pairs well with the HDDR, and a 2nd day mostly at the MK (Sun) with the night to see the AK at night.

I had to put these into a spreadsheet to visualize.

Keep in mind that Pandora will have EMH until 1 a.m. everyday in June. You can easily make it over to AK to see Pandora at night. I'm actually more excited to see it at night than during the day, but I'm sure both will be amazing.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think we're going with a modified version of Plan B. I'm excited to see Pandora (at day and night) and to see Happily Ever After. If I decide to to the monorail dinner on Tuesday night - we will probably find another time to squeeze in Pandora near the end of the night. We can always save that as something else to experience during our September trip too.

If you're going to save something from Pandora for September, I'd save the daytime part. With AK open until 1:00 a.m. for resort guests only in June, if you can fit that in somewhere, my guess is you'll have an almost empty land from midnight on.

I'd def. do plan B (although your MK time seems pretty small, but maybe you prefer the other parks). Plan A just seems exhausting and way too much "hopping". In our experience the more times we have to rely on transportation at Disney, the more likely we are to find trouble. It's also pretty time consuming to make all those jumps.

I'm spending two mornings and an evening at MK in Plan B... we actually love the Magic Kingdom but we've found that its tough to get much done between 2pm and 7pm due to the crowds so we usually use that time as a break and/or to hop parks.

only thing I would add if you are going to do Hoop Dee Doo at 4 plan to be at bus stop for Fort Wilderness by 2 as you will need to also use the internal bus at the campground. this will allow you to just miss each bus and have to wait for next bus. and in case you think you might walk if you miss bus it is about a mile walk
