We're family of 5 going Jan 2-7 [everyone's first time except DH but he went a looooong time ago]. I have checked out the guide books from the library while planning the trip but have heard we should bring one on the trip....
which one is a must have? Thanks.

I like the Passporter because it has great maps and pockets for you to keep information. It is made to be *used* as well as read. It's a good organizer. Besides the Hidden Mickey book, the Passporter is the only book we brought with us and it was informative.

That said, The Unofficial Guide is also pretty good.

It looks like it's $15.80 online at Barnes & Noble so I'll try there to see if I can get it now...amazon isn't shipping it until Jan 9 and I'll be back then. ;o)
Would costco or sams carry this?

I'm going to pick it up locally later today. Oh, at Borders. No discount, but I am so into instant gratification LOL!

Check out the budget board-there's a link on a thread that has a 30% off coupon! :cool1: I plan to use it to get my 2006 PassPorter!!

Unofficial Guide to Disney is a must do for our family. Even DH was impressed by how much information there was and how much it helped us.

as well as the Fodors and Brinbaum guides, but these are 2005

I posted the 30% Border coupon on budget board so I'm hoping to be ablet to get the 2006 Passporter for $15 after coupon.

I'm also thinking of buying the by Kids for Kids....is this necessary?? My kids aer 6, 4 & 3.
