Ill throw relish on my hamburger as well as hot dog. Actually the other day I put relish on a warm ham and cheese sandwhich.

I seem to be more concerned on bread it is on--always nice/ fresh rolls. Of course I am a cheap date for potato rolls for dogs/ burgers/ etc

Now making me hungry!! I wanted to light up the grill tonight but see it started to rain and continue tonight?

Different days, it's different toppings for me. If I'm in a hurry, it's ketchup, Gray Poupon mustard, and red onion, with sharp cheddar cheese. Usually, I'll put green chile on mine with some ketchup and mustard and the sharp cheddar. All those years in New Mexico, I got spoiled--they even have green chile cheeseburgers at McDonald's. Here in Michigan, I have to make my green chile cheeseburger at home.

But--I've really never met a style of burger I didn't like.

Now my sister is the Queen of the Oliveburgers. She will get one any time it's offered on the menu.

IMO mayo should NEVER be put on a burger. Dill pickle can go on a burger on ocassion. Never sweet or bread and butter pickles.

Avacado or guac is good sometimes too.

I don't eat hamburgers, but I make them for my DH. I eat either a boca burger or a grilled portobello mushroom. Both of us like the same toppings--carmelized onions, melty cheese (sharp cheddar or gruyere), a slice of tomato, dijon mustard, and a smidge of mayonaisse.

Sometimes I make us black bean burgers. Those are topped with montery jack (melted), guacamole, salsa, and hot sauce.

Sometimes I do like just a plain cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard, tomato, and onion.

I don't like to get too creative with my burgers, and I refuse to eat a hamburger without cheese!
