I plan on going to V&A's with my father. I figure a place like that, I'll just wear a suit. But, I've heard that oher people wore a good dress shirt and khakis. I don't want to be over or under dress. Thanks

Men do need a jacket at V&A. My husband has always worn a blazer or jacket. You'll be comfortable in a suit, too if that is your choice. Enjoy!

You'll feel better and be glad you did.

It's a great restaurant, the best at WDW.
You'll have a wonderful time.

I don't remember ever being told that men need a tie and am almost 100% certain that my husband has never worn one there.

Jacket required, but not a tie.
I always used to wear a suit--but after awhile I switched to a lightweight blue sportcoat and tan slacks..much more comfortable.
Mrs. Uncleromulus used to wear a dress. She switched to a nice lightweight pants-suit. Again-much more comfortable.
But that's us.
You'll see all sorts of dress at V&A, from Tuxedos and evening gowns, all the way down the line.
And if you happen to arrive sans jacket, they will provide one from their collection--.

And if I recall if you opt to not "borrow" one from them, they will be happy to serve you from the V&A menu in Citrico, although the information that the various concierge planners have sent me has always stated the Citrico dress code as collared shirts for men, no shorts, jeans, or baseball hats. Regretfully they don't enforce it.

It's not that difficult to put on a golf shirt and chinos for crying out loud!

I ate at Citricos in Aug 2001 with my mom and brother and I was unaware that there was a dresscode. My mom and I both had on tanktops - I had a button down over mine but she didn't. Noone said anything to us about what we were wearing. However, we had not planned on eating at Citricos that evening. We wanted to eat at GFC but when we got there we found out it was no longer serving dinner. Thankfully, a CM saw us standing by the entrance and suggested Citricos if we didn't mind spending extra money. We were on the deluxe magic plan so we enjoyed spending more money. It was a great meal and beautiful surroundings. What surprised me most was that we got plastic mickey shaped straws in our drinks - not what I expected from such a fancy restaurant. I still had that straw until my fiance put it in the dishwasher a few months ago :(

Anne, I noticed that kind of dress noted for Citrico's in written info when we in Sugar Loaf in Jan. 2002. We received no such notice this December. At any rate, if you make your PSs through Disney Dining, you'll only be told no tank tops or resort casual. I think it's very strange that concierge desks give different info than DD. You'd think they'd get their act together.
