I am in the process of packing right now, we are leaving 4 AM in the morning tomorrow. I know I am a procrastinator :confused3 . What is the proper attire for the Yachtsmans? Thank you for your help.

The suggested dress is "business casual"--the WDW version includes "dress shorts" and "jean pants". T-shirts are out.
HOWEVER--the code is rarely enforced and you'll probably see all sorts of dress at the Yachtsman.

The dress varies from T-shirts and shorts to business casual. I have never seen the dress code enforced. I, however, feel most comfortable in slacks and a button down shirt. My wife feels comfortable in a casual dress.

Hope that helps.

Was told business casual. Men needed to wear a collared shirt dress pants or dress shorts no short shorts for men or women. And most of all no ribbed tanks or shirts at least these are what my CM stressed to me when I made my ADR's.

Two weeks ago, I wore a short sleeved blouse, khaki capri pants and leather sandals, my dh wore dockers, a polo style shirt and leather sandals. We felt neither under nor overdressed. There were a few women in dresses and a few men with dress shirts or sport coats (it looked like it might have been a business dinner or a men's vacation group), and at least one table of people in jeans. I figured, at least my pants weren't so low cut that my behind was hanging out when I sat down, like one woman's (who unfortunately was sitting with her back to me!)

Enjoy! We had a fabulous dinner there.

I wore a sundress and heels - but I enjoy dressing up on vacation for a nice meal. DH work khakis and a polo.

Most in the restaurant were dressed similarly - many businesspeople in jackets and such.

(there was one couple that came straight from the park in their shorts AND their matching bride/groom mouse ears and they did stick out like a sore thumb. Call me a snob but I thought it was way way too casual for that restaurant. They looked odd. As long as you look put together and not straight out of a day at the parks, I think you'll be fine.)
