Okay we are getting ready to pack and will be leaving this coming Sunday. Last summer is was very hot and rained ALOT.

Is it really, really hot in the parks this summer?

Should I plan on putting tank-tops on the boys(10, 9 & 7 yrs old) most of the day? I have mostly sundress for the girls.

Do we need to pack sweatshirts? We are staying at Ft. W and will do the campfire one or two nights.

Thanks in adavance.

I don't think you really need sweatshirts in the middle of the summer here. Cool light colored clothing is the best. I use to bring an extra shirt for when we went to eat if the air conditioning was to cold, but other than that nothing else. Bring raingear or you can buy poncho's in the parks. this is Florida and is usually rains veryday in the summer. Don't for get the SunScreen for all of you. I don't know what kind of shoes you will be wearing, but if anyone is wearing scandals don't forget the sunscreen for the top of your feet. one other thing you might consider is hats for all of you. It really helps in the bright sun, not to have it beating down directly on your head.

Light colors, nothing tight other than a bathing suit for water parks. Woven fabrics are usually better than knits. Hats are very good, but again, light-colored.

Forget the sweatshirts. If you really feel you need something like that, go with windbreakers, which are much more compact and will help you in rain, too.
