What to waitlist, if anything?

I currently have a deluxe studio preferred view booked at Riviera for March 16-20. It was going to be me, 17 year old daughter, and mom, but now my 2 aunts are going as well. Couldn’t be happier to have them all on the trip, but now wondering if the studio will feel too cramped for essentially 5 adult women.

The trip will be 2 days at Epcot, 1 AK, 1 MK so trying to stay Epcot adjacent. Was thinking of putting in a waitlist for a 2 bedroom garden/pool view at boardwalk. Seems like that could be a long shot but that would be the most likely category to open up based on # of rooms.

Curious if anyone has suggestions on other options to think about or if they’ve ever done 5 adults in a Riviera studio. My daughter is tiny so should have no issue on the pulldown single sleeper.

ETA: pool is important which is why we aren’t considering Beach Club with the storm along bay refurb.

How about waitlisting a one bedroom at Riviera? I would want more room.

You can do 2 waitlists.

Have you looked at what is open right now? 1BR at BW P/G and RIV Standard View are still there. Maybe switch to one of those, then waitlist BW P/G 2BR.

Another option would be keeping your studio and putting in waitlists for both RIV Pref and Std for another studio. That is if you’re OK with taking the chance it doesn’t come through and all staying in 1 studio.

Excellent upgrade! The 1bdrm at RIV is one of favorite rooms on property! They’re beautiful and feel so spacious, even with every bed filled. If you’ve not been before, I’d request a west wing (close to skyliner) room. They’re slightly closer to the quiet pool, the skyliner, of course, and have the view of Spaceship Earth Hope you have a great trip!
