what to take for kitchen

our first vacation will be coming up and having never stayed at BC with kitchen - what is it that you take to make life easy? paper plates? coffee filters? what kind? thanks

It depends on what size unit you are talking about. Coffee filters are a must- the 10-12 cup basket type for all units. If you are in a 1BR or above you will not need any additional plates, silverware, glassware etc. There is dishwashing soap and dishwasher soap provided in the units with full kitchens. We just run the dishwasher once a day and it works fine for us. Depending on what you plan to cook you may want to bring spices, salt and pepper etc. Some people bring a dish cloth as the sponge provided is somewhat small but we find it works just fine.
In a studio you will have a toaster, microwave and coffee maker. There are glasses and coffee mugs and paper plates with plastic silverware. The paper and plastic is limited so you may need extra if that is the size villa you are in.
I have a corkscrew in my suitcase just in case the one in the unit is missing.
