What to request at BLT?

Hi folks -

We are staying in a 2BR lake view next trip and I wanted to add a room request to the reservation.

We don't care about trying to sneak a MK peek (we did MK view room before and our preference is to watch fireworks from TOTWL anyway so we feel like MK view is a waste for us).

However, we are not crazy about the view of the marina and CR, and I'd rather be as far from skybridge as possible.

I was thinking I should ask for the north side of the building, and an odd numbered room. Do I want to ask for a higher floor? What is the advantage of that?

It's all a roll of the dice, I know. But we've always been very fortunate with requests so I like to give it a try. Third trip to BLT but first time requesting anything.
