What to pick!

We have never been to Ohana (dinner) or Teppan Edo. I don't think we will get to do both. We have a large group if that makes any difference (6 adults and 4 kids). If you had to choose, which would you pick?! Thanks for any input!!

Wife and I did a 4:00pm Teppon Edo this past Wednesday May 4. Our first try at it. It was great!!! Met great dinner guests too. Looks like up to 8 per table. That would be my pick anyway. Enjoy.

Never been to Teppan Edo so I can't speak to that one. We ate dinner at O'hana in the past and really enjoyed it. Good to review the current menu to see if these are things you enjoy. Many of bad reviews for O'hana seem to be from people who didn't realize the menu/dining format. We never felt rushed as some complain, but since there are fixed menu items, this not your typical place to order from a menu and then wait several minutes while your meal is prepared. The fixed menu items are served family style. (I think they have made some service modifications due to the covid situation. Rather then go from table to table with skewers, they place the food on family style platters for your table).

If you have small children who tend to get restless waiting for food to be served, then O'hana is a good option.

Do you have local Hibachi or would eating Japanese at Disney be something different for your group? I think our local Japanese places are much better than Teppan Edo so I would always pick 'Ohana for us. We were one and done at TE.

The quality at Teppan Edo is probably better but I must admit I prefer the food at 'Ohana. The dessert pushes it over the top.

Do Ohana and depending on how late your dinner reservations are you can watch the electric light parade and fireworks from Magic Kingdom.

- More time to transfer to the resort
* Teppan Edo
- Communal tables that sit up to eight
- Unique and fun dining expierence
- In Epcot so you don't rely on transportation

We did teppan last trip granted only 5 of us but everyone loved it, it was alot of fun. It's a definite redo for us next trip
