Hi Everyone! My boyfriend and I are DVCers and have been to Disney a lot. We decided that next trip we are each going to plan a suprise meal at a restaurant that we have never been to before. I am stuck with what to pick! I feel like we've hit all the biggies. Here are all the TS meals we have done in the past: O'hana, Jiko, CP, Tony's, Boma, Grand Floridian Cafe, 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickeys, Tappan Edo, Beaches and Cream, Cape May Cafe, Le Cellier, Chefs De France, Tusker House, Whispering Canyon Cafe, ESPN Club Sci-Fi and, Mama Melrosas. I was thinking maybe California Grille. We aren't super fancy people, but it's nice to dress up and feel fancy ever now and again. If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears!! Thanks! :)

I had to read your extensive list a few times to check for things that I was thinking! You've been to a lot of places! :thumbsup2 Cali Grill is a good idea...other things that came to mind were Cinderellas Royal Table, Kona, Coral Reef, Tutto Italia...fancier would be Artist Point, Narcoossee's, Citrico's....If it were me, since I'm not a "super fancy person" myself, I would do breakfast at Kona or dinner at Coral Reef.

Have a great time!!:goodvibes

I haven't been yet, but I would go to the Coral Reef and have a personalized menu and or diver.

Kona,Flying Fish,Victoria & Alberts? Yak&Yeti,Fresh,Shula's What do I know I have not even been to WDW, But I will be in WDW in Sept:cheer2:

What about the Bistro de France? I haven't been there but have heard great things...

California Grill :thumbsup2
Citrico's :thumbsup2
Narcoossee's :thumbsup2

Just did all 3 back in April for our 25th Ann. Loved them all. And I am NO WAY A FANCY EATER. Steak & MAcroni's for me. I am sure you will be happy with any one of these. They are all two table services.

I have not been to Boma, Jiko, Artist Point, Cali Grill, Shula's, V&A, Le Cellier, but have heard good things about them :thumbsup2 . If you want a quiet meal with little to no chance of encountering a table with fit-throwing children, I would pick Shula's or V&A. I don't think Shula's has a children's menu and I am sure most families would not take their children to a meal at V&A (They might think it would be too stuffy/boring for kids),

Have you considered the Tea at Grand Floridian?...I believe the hours are 2-6, and that any children there would be trying to appear ladylike, etc..:bride:

They do not take DDP, so already that eliminates a lot of people, and it looks lovely,, and certainly is different from standard fare.

All the reviews seem positive, so perhaps if you like the menu there it would be a good choice.:flower3:

Hi Everyone! Thanks for all the suggestions! Has anyone been to Shula's? The football theme would def be a plus for the b/f!

Amy

For a fun one, I don't see the Biergarten on your list of places you've been. That is one of our favorites - the food is great, the atmosphere is great, and the band is wonderful and entertaining.

California Grill :thumbsup2

Always thinking alike! I vote for Narcoosees too!!
