What is the weather like in November? Just wondering what to pack?

We have gone in Nov many times, the week before Thanksgiving. We pack t-shirts, shorts, 1 lightweight jacket, and 1 pair of jeans for each of us. For myself, and DD I also pack capris. At the time we are there the weather has usually been high 70's to mid 80's. No rain and mostly sunny skies!! Sometimes at night it gets cool and in some attractions that's why I like to have light jackets with us. We are always able to swim, so pack those swimsuits. Don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen. Even though it is Nov, the sun in Fl. is still very strong. DH and DS also like to have hats with them.

This will be our 4th November trip. The weather can be very tricky this time of year. I pack things so I can dress in layers. Mornings can be chilly, days are usually warmish and nights can be really chilly. By chilly, I mean, you will need a light jacket and jeans. Last year had wonderful weather, I think we only needed to break out the jackets once. You can swim during the day, so don't forget to pack you swim stuff. Have a great time. :thumbsup2

We went in November last year and are going the week of Thanksgiving this year. I am packing 4 jeans 4 shorts and 2 capri for me and DD. For hubby and son 6 jeans and 4 shorts. All short sleeved shirts and a lightweight jacket. Last year we wore shorts 3 days and Jeans and jackets the other 3 days. At night it was pretty chilly. It rained one day so be sure and bring ponchos. Definately bring the swimsuits. The kids had a great time in the pool.

Hope this helps!!!

:thumbsup2 This should work for you...Where we are from, it's pretty cold in November which made the weather at WDW very pleasant for us...It felt really warm for us because we came from cold weather...It was snowing when we left!!! Always check the 10 day forecast before packing...that should help some in your deciding what to pack... :goodvibes

All of the above posts are on target. I'll pack maybe 2 jeans and the rest crops. I'll take comfy sandals and some "slip on" Nike's for evenings or cooler days, a light jacket for cool mornings or evenings. That's about it. I always seem to be really chilly @Fantasmic that time of year, so I'll have a jacket for that. I hope all of our Thanksgiving travelers have wonderful trips!

All the above posters are correct.Last year it was beautiful! Swam and wore shorts during the day.It did rain one day for a short period of time.We did bring light jackets and a fleece pullover for my DD. The nights do get very cool.IT beats New England weather though for that time. We will be there again NOv 19-27 at CSR.Great trips to all!! :wizard:

It's usually in the high 70's low 80's during the day and the low 60's during the night.
To me, early November's weather is perfect!

I always check a couple weather sites right before we go, before I pack, to see what we're expecting. www.accuweather.com and www.weather.com are the two I check.

Have fun! :)

We went years ago in November, 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. It was a great time - the parks were not crowded. During the days we were fine in shorts and t-shirts, even after getting wet on the River Rapids in AK. At night we did wear sweatshirts or a jacket, but wore those with shorts and sandals and were fine.

We are going to pack mostly shorts and light weight shirts. We also plan on packing several pairs of jeans and light weight jackets just in case. Hopefully we won't need the jeans of jackets, but we would rather have them and not need them.

Thank you! I've been clueless as to what to pack! We usually go in May and all I have to do is pack shorts and tanks! Good to hear! It helps a lot! :thanks:

We have gone the same time of year for the last 4 years, we have always had pretty warm weather all day and night. We also come from a fairly cold climate. So Florida nights at 65 degrees still feels warm to me. Shorts and tees, and if the wife gets cold she buys a sweat shirt. Have not had much rain either.
Time frames: first two weeks of November
this year 11/6 to 11/13....

Thanks you for this thread, I was just going to ask that question. So glad to hear it is still pool weather! Thank you again! :thumbsup2

We were there last November and the days were warm and the nights cool to cold. I wore a hat and gloves one night.
