Hello everyone,

We are coming up to our first December trip to Disney. We are down there from the 12th through the 16th. Is this going to be bombarded busy? I've loved the weeks when we've gone in September with low crowds and lines. Will that time in December be bad?

Also, any tips for what to wear?

Thanks,
Shelly

Haven't been to WDW in Dec. since 1998 and according to the baords, it seems as though crowds have picked up overall since then so I can't really comment on that. But as far as what to wear, I'd recommend a little of everything. Our days ranged from hot and sunny to cool and rainy and the evenings were always on the cool side. We wore mostly shorts and tennis shoes with layered options on top (sweatshirt on top of lighter top for cool mornings and warm afternoons). Evenings we were happy to have our jeans and jackets. It was fairly chilly for the night we attended MVMCP which only made it that much more Christmassy! Hope you have a wonderful time.

Hi Shelley,

That week is typically about average attendance. The real big crowds don't start in until right around the days before Christmas Eve.

I'd wear layers, maybe a tee shirt & long pants but take a sweater or light jacket you can tie around your waist in case it gets chilly. Weather in FL is funny...it can be 80 one day and 30 the next. That happened to us in Feb and we wound up having to buy sweatshirts.

Have a wonderful trip!!

Sheri
