What to expect at H & V dinner?

We've been to H & V when they offered the Character Breakfast - which I found delicious, what's the dinner buffet like????

Hi, chirsty'smom! I've only eaten at H&V for breakfast, so I really can't help out for dinner. Does anyone have any experience with H&V dinner?

We have been to H&V 3 times for dinner, the last two times on the Fantasmic Package. We all can always find enough food we like to fill up. And the desserts are good. We really appreciate not having to wait for Fantasmic and really feel it is worth it for this purpose.

Dinner at Hollywood and Vine is great. Not only do you get the cheapest Fantasmic dinner package ($19.99), but you get good food as well. Some of my favorites from the buffet are the salmon, the steak, the root beer glazed sweet potatoes and the lo mein.

We did the Fantasmic dinner package at H&V in October. The price has gone up to $21.99. We did not care for this buffet at all. We thought the food was mediocre at best. We had a horrible waitress who ignored us and took over 1/2 an hour to bring our drinks. Then we were over charged and had to deal with the manager who was not very helpful. We had to wait another 40 minutes to get our bill straightened out (I'm not kidding - we timed it). We barely made it to Fantasmic on time because dinner took so long.

Needless to say we will never go back to H&V.

We usually avoid buffets. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed the H&V when we booked it for a Fantasmic Package because it was the only place available.

The food was above average, the line moved along and everything was hot and constantly replenished. We enjoyed the salmon served on Swiss chard, the potatoes, green beans and vegetable lo mein. I can't recall other choices but the only thing I really didn't like was the sweet potatoes. Buffets can be messy and the salad station area could have used some tidying up!

My children ate well off the adult section, vegetables included, and LOVED the soft serve machine in the dessert area. They got pretty creative combining some cake selections with the ice cream.

All in all, we were pleasantly surprised. My husband who doesn't eat much meat and has high standards for what is truly well-prepared, thought it was a good choice. The Fantasmic package is always worth it to us!

I don't think you will be disappointed.
