Hello
I just found out I won a sales trip to ft lauderdale Jan 3-8 air and hotel marriot beach resort(way to expensive for me ) but their paying for my wife and I.I have to do a few meetings but it will be fun. I can extend the return time tho to fly out later. Am thinking of Flying out the 11th instead(Wednesday) We thought leave ft lauderdale sunday morning sometime to go to orlando(don't know if get their in time to much on sunday) Them Mon/Tues go to disney or universal or? We have done disney twice once by our self 7 years ago and once with kids two years ago. Never did universal. Money will be somewhat tight but can still do stuff. What would you do and where would you go (NO KIDS WOW ITS BEEN AWHILE)

Well, if money is tight and you only have a couple of days, I think that I would choose Universal (since you've never been there) at an outside hotel. You should be able to get everything done even without First In Line priviledges. But, if you're able to get a good deal on a Universal hotel, that would be even better.

I don't know about you, but only being at Disney for only a few days would just not work.

I would also say universal ...(honestly you didn't sound like you were dying to go to WDW again) if you want to do costers etc. If you want to do dining and have a relaxing time at the pool and eat great meals...do a value with the dining plan and live it up!!! Other great places to visit KSC and the Dali Museum.

If it is any consolation, I would go to Disney World. ::yes::

Stay onsite at either a value or moderate resort. You might be able to get a deal on accomodations by watching mousesavers.com.

Staying onsite allows for use of the transportation system as well as Extra Magic Hours. Also fastpass is available to all guests not only those who stay onsite and pay for it.

Disney World is a wonderful place to enjoy with your sweetheart. Enjoy! :teeth:

Universal - what's that?
I'd definitely go to WDW.

Will you have a car? If money is tight, I wouldn't stay onsite if you'll have transportation available.

Yes we will have a car, I don't mind paying the little extra to stay on site for atmosphere and the early admission.

Then go for a value(with a big bed!!!) and add the dining package. For $35 pp a night you will be living it up !!!

Dinings only $35 a person a night? So far I got a quote from dreams unlimited staying at pop sun- wed with 3 day hopper passes for $710 does this sound right? DO you think we can get up there on time sunday from ft lauderdale to enjoy the park some on sunday?

Thanks
