what to do?

So we're DVC and I was planning on taking a last minute trip with BF. However he might or might not be able to go....unsure b/c of her job situation. The problem is my booking window is very near where if i dont cancel i lose the points, however if I keep waiting I'm going to have a hard time with getting the hotel I want. I already can't get the one I want for the entire stay. Should I book and then if he can't go, try to get a friend to go, or just go solo....I really need a vacation b/c my life is so hectic right now. I don't have any days off all month and I'm even just looking forward to having weekends back again...yes sad I know!

hahaha! I booked the hotel and told him that if he couldnt go it was fine I'd find someone else to go or go by myself. Then 10 min later I told him that I would be flying out on the first flight on the morning of arrival and the last flight on the evening of departure. He got all shady and asked if we were going together b/c we should book the airlines together. hahaha I guess all he needed was a little push in the right direction!
