What to do with your personal stuff if you can't check in??

If we are unable to check in when we arrive, and want to use the pool, what can we do with our stuff? I don't mean our luggage, but my purse and my brother's wallet? If we want to take a dip in the pool with the kids while we wait, is there a safe place for that stuff?? I have never NOT been able to check in early, so I have never had to deal with that. Thank you!

You can store your stuff with Bell Services or, depending on which resort you're staying at, there may be lockers near the pool.

While we haven't done exactly that scenario, if we were, I would use my Witz-brand (bought at REI but they are all over; they even sell them at WDW) waterproof lanyard holder thingie (not the actual word for it, LOL) to hold ID, credit card, keycard, ticket, maybe a bit of money. I would wear that while swimming, and lock everything else that's not NEEDED for the pool away with Bell Services.

I stuff everything in my suitcase and lock it up with a TSA lock.
ID, KYTTW card, credit cards go in boyfriend's pocket in his swim trunks.

So just thinking....we wont be wearing our bathing suits on the plane so is there also a place to change into them if we arrive early and want to use the pool?

Yes, there are changing areas near the main pools at the resorts.

I agree with others who said only bring what you need to the pool. Everything else can be checked with bell services.
You can change in the restroom near the pool or the one in the resort lobby.
