What to do with pears that got frozen?

Recently, Harry & David had a really good deal on their fancy pears. So, I splurged and bought 10 lbs of them.

Unfortunately, we had bad weather yesterday and FedEx didn't deliver them as scheduled. So, they sat in a truck all night in single digit weather. When they finally got delivered today, I figured they'd be frozen, and sure enough they were.

I called Harry & David, and they are sending me out a new shipment, at no charge of course. But, now I have 10 lbs of pears that got frozen. They're thawing out on my counter now. Other than making pear sauce, what am I going to do with 10 lbs of previously frozen pears?

I make pear crisp, you can do this with previously frozen pears, you just prepare it like your favorite apple crisp, add the cinnamon, sugar, etc and then put them in gallon freezer Ziplocs and freeze them. Very good and very easy. And so great to have on hand when you need a quick yummy dessert.
