What to do with DD4 after Princess Tea?

DD4 and I are going to the Princess Tea at the GF. DH and the rest of the faimily will be otherwise occupied for several hours during and afterwards. The tea is from 10:30 to 12, so I'm looking for ideas on what to do with DD afterwards. We'll have been at WDW for several days before that, so will have already hit all the parks at least once.

I'm looking for ideas about things that are different or special in the area of the GF or MK. Something that would be fun and continuing on our theme of a special mommy/daughter only day.

She will be in costume for the tea, but its no big deal for me to bring along a change of clothes for her.

Thoughts? Ideas? Thanks!

sorry, don't mean to look like I'm stalking you! It just so happens that I click on everything "Princess Tea". Anyways... Starting Nov. 17th Downtown Disney will have Santa outside the World of Disney Store for pictures. You might want to take her there for pictures and then have a real lunch since it will be like 12:30 or so. (I've heard that the tea serves a beyond mediocre plate, so your little one might want something more appetizing)

LOL! I do the same thing with the Princess Tea threads, so I know what you mean! And thats a good idea, but we're Jewish. So no Santa pix for us. ;)

But lunch is something to consider. I was thinking that lunch wouldn't be such a good idea, but maybe I'm overestimating what she will eat at the tea. Maybe a late 2-ish lunch somewhere nearby?

Anyone else? We probably won't have the car with us, so somewhere easily accessible from the GF would be nice.

Hi! If you go to either allearsnet.com or disneyworld.com (can't remember where I've seen it) and lurk around, there are two things that she might like that are very "girlie" and "special day-ish".

There is something called Mrs. Potts Tea. Its not a character lunch or anything. Its just a special menu for lunch with a little girl. Its available at the GF and the menu talks about special magic tea which is actually chocolate milk and describes the finger foods that are appropriate for little ones....I think ham and cheese and PB & J sandwiches. It also shows several other different choices for grown-ups, including croissants or petit fours and real tea. If she's already dressed up, and like my DD, she probably would like to stay and walk around the GF where I'm sure she'll get tons of attention from the other guests.

Also, they have My First Day at the Spa at the GF for little ones. They can either get a manicure or pedicure. It goes for 30 minutes and I think it was $30.

The more I think about it, the more I think this info is on disney's actual website under resort info....but for some reason I can't get it to pull up right now.

These are both things that I'm seriously considering when me and DD go for our first mother/daughter only trip. (Where we don't have to do anything that the boys want--like the Stitch Ride--ugghh.) If you do it, post when you get back. I'd love to hear how it is!
