Hi everyone

I'm currenly looking at booking our second trip to DLRP for the end of this year. :yay:

Last time we got the Eurostar and booked via Disney so had Disney Express. This time around it's looking to be a lot cheaper if we booked the Eurostar ourselves.

Question I've got is that will the hotel have a concerige service who will hold our bags whilst we are at the parks on arrival and departure days? We're going to staying at the Hotel New York. This wasn't an issue last time as the Disney Express Service sorted it. As good as it was, it's not worth the £250 cheaper it's going to be to book the train ourselves. ;)

I'm sure they will, but just wanted to ask people in the 'know' :thanks:

All of the Disney hotels have luggage storage facilities. You just drop your luggage off and they'll give you a slip of paper which you must produce when you return to collect them.

Yes, you can leave your luggage there. Although I'm pretty sure you can add on Disney express for about £16 per adult?

Another alternative is to ask for Disney Express when you are checking out of the hotel and I think someone said it was only 10E for the entire party.

Hopefully someone who's done this will be along to confirm.

yes you are right you can pay 10 euros per room for the bags to be sent to the station i saw posters for this in the santa fe

To store baggage at Disney hotels is free, but as mentioned you have to return to collect it.

The best option I always find is to have them take it to the station. I was there at the start of the month, and the Newport Bay charged 11euros per room. You just collect it from the station then. Easy peasy!

Hi,
We stayed at the New York this month and travelled via the Eurostar.
We booked our own travel and on the way out just took our own bags over to the hotel. Luckily our room was ready.
On our way home I'd read on here that you could organise the express for 10 euros. I went down to the baggage desk and they basically said check out on time at 11am and its free. Its worth it for them to get the room back on time. The service was good and not a problem at the station to get the bags back.
Hope this helps
Thanks
Amanda
