I got a great deal on airfare nonstop to and from San Diego but our flight doesn't leave Orlando after our cruise untill 4:00. I know we have to be off the ship by 9:00 (right?) It would cost too much to change the flight now, so I don't know what we should do that day. We were going to use Tiffany for our transfers at a cost of $200. Do you think we should rent a car instead? We have three DSs (11,10, & 7) Help!!!! Any advice would be so greatly valued!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Sounds like us last year...

Our flight left at 2:50PM . My suggestion would be to minimize your carry-on luggage, first of all. MCO is virtually like a shopping mall, so if you don't have to lug huge bags around all day, it's not so bad. You can shop the Disney store for last-minute stuff, let the kids play in the video arcade for a hour or so, and there are numerous shops and stores. Finally, you can go to Chili's for lunch. It's not hard to kill 3-4 hours or more at the airport, but if you have 30 pounds of luggage slung over your shoulder it can be a problem! Treat it like a day at the mall and you'll do OK. I certainly wouldn't rent a car just because of a late flight...

Hope this is helpful!!!

Well we decided to rent a car which saved us 120.00 round trip from the towncar. Last year we were off the boat by 8am and our flight is not until 2:30 so we will head off to downtown disney for a few hours then off to the airport, with that extra 120 dollars we can do a bit of shopping.

We have a 6 pm flight out of Melbourne Fl so will rent a car and go to Kennedy Space Ctr for the day. We fly Delta (of course since we're from Atlanta) and find the Melbourne airport just as close as MCO but smaller and easier to navigate through security, etc. Bad news is there isn't much shopping!

We had a 4:30 flight and found that you can get a day room at the Airport Hyatt for about $60. Since we were traveling with two 4 y/os this really made the day easy. They have a pool and there was time for a nap.
