what to do when magic bands arrive?

ok so im in the 5 day countdown till my magic band order from the MyDisneyExperience account gets shipped, i have linked my reservation to the account and it shows up, a few days ago i linked two tickets to my account and made sure they went to the right 2 people, that shows as well, and finally i set up fast passes for those two. that also shows up.

Now when the magic bands arrive what do i do? i assume i need to link them somehow? or when shipped will they automatically be linked?

just want to ask early so i know what to do when the day arrives i find my bands waiting for me!

You don't need to do anything with them. Pack them in your carry on. If you are using DME you will use them to get on the bus.

ok i was just curious because when i check online its shows 0 magic bands but 4 ordered magic bands so now based on what you said I'm assuming when they ship the numbers will switch?
