What to do to with 46 Points

We have 46 points remaining for this year with an anniversary month of August. We don't want to bank them to next year because we are going use next years points towards a disney cruise in 2006. Does anyone know if I can sell them? If so where? I am looking for options. Too little to do much and to much just to just let go. any ideas??

Check out the points for rent board. I rented some points there, as little as 8-12 at a time. Good luck!

Rent them. I rented 36 points for my upcoming trip, and that was for 2 rooms. You should be able to get a taker.

best to sell them in the current UY when you can transfer them to another member. You'll have no troble finding a taker (who may be able to then bank). With paypal its easy to complete transaction.

you can still bank them to 2005 - then use them first for your cruise and you should still have 46 points left - that you then bank to 2006.

spiceycat - if the cruise is in 06, can they use 04 points? I thought you could only bank points for one year? Perhaps if the cruise is before August then they could!!!! I never seem to have many points to bank - so I'm maybe not the best source of banking advice

The answer to your question depends on the date of the cruise.

If you bank 2004 points into your 2005 use year, you could use them for a cruise that departs anytime between 8/1/2005 and 7/31/2006.

If you are looking at a cruise during the rest of the calendar year 2006 (8/1/2006 - 12/31/2006) you would have to use 2006 use year points and would not be able to use the banked 2004 points.

What do you do with your odd leftover points?
I have 4 points left that were banked from last year.
They are banked so I can't transfer, there only 4 so I don't think I can use for a rental or reservation. Is there something I buy with these like merchandise or spa massage or something.
Is this just part of the learning experience that most of us go through untill we can book more efficently?
It seems like there should be somewhere you can get merchandise for odd points DVC pins, shirts, hats.

If you are going to stay at a DVC resort during your current use year you can use those 4 points first. Then bank anything left over from this year into next year and continue the process.

If you got $4 change back from spending a $100 bill you'd use that $4 on your next purchase instead of tossing it out right?
