Alright, with jetblue now going into Long Beach it is opening up a whole new possibility of my family flying down rather than driving from North Oregon. But in an attempt to compare the driving vs. flying costs I need to know how much a shuttle, cab, or limo would cost for a family of 7. Does anyone have any numbers to reputable and reliable services I could call? I've already checked renting a van but that would be $345 for the five days. Do you think this is comparable to drop off and pick up rate for 7 people? I've never before had to shuttle this many people and I can't even take an educated guess. I would love to fly down and save the 30 hours of extra travel time, but I need to be realistic in our budgeting and planning. Don't get me wrong, I am not expecting flying to be cheaper than driving but I want it to be close enough to make the extra expenditure acceptable and a no brainer:). Thanks for any insight! Have a great day!!

Super Shuttle from Long Beach costs $35 for the first person, and $9. each additional. They can carry 7 passengers, and because that's capacity, you'll have the van to yourselves. That's a total of $89 plus tip. However, you can get a coupon for $2 off per person, each way, here (it's the last coupon on the list): http://www.anaheimoc.org/Articles/Archive/Webpage10153.asp

That would take $14 off your total, bringing it to $75, each way. That's better than 2 taxis.

I think there's other shuttle services with similar coupons and prices. That's the one I know about, though. Hope that helps! :goodvibes
