our last cruise, all our kids were old enough for the kids clubs. And spent ALL day in them! Lol
This time we will have a 2.5 yr old in tow. Obviously we can only book so much nursery time, and they won't allow him in the clubs except during family open house.
Aside from the pool/splash pad, what do you do to entertain your toddler on board? I figure we could search for hidden Mickey's, and play some games, but that won't entertain him for long, especially with his older siblings being gone all day..

Open House in the Club or Lab at least one or two hours a day. Chasing a ball around the basketball court. Running around deck 4. Taking a NAP in the room in the afternoon. Looking for characters. We will be cruising with DD, DSIL, DGD-5 and DGD-21 mo so we will be dealing with the same thing. But our little one loves to run so I'm guessing we'll be chasing her a lot. At least for us there will be 4 adults to keep her entertained. And we're bringing a few toys for in the room.

I'm thinking our biggest heart ache will be that he will be MAD he can't hang with his older siblings... He's forever chasing them around the neighborhood. Lol they are 8 & 9.

Do you, or anyone, know if the clubs are open house while in Dock? Wondering if on Nasseau day we could do the club after Atlantis..

What ship are you on? Our little ones enjoyed the midship detective agency on the Fantasy. Also, dance parties, wake up with disney junior, and as Planonana mentioned above- the promenade deck was great for exercise. Naps were essential. Are you in a verandah room? We enjoyed the verandah during nap time and brought a baby monitor to use while little one was sleeping and we were hanging out on the verandah.
Enjoy your cruise!

We'd be on the Dream. No Verandah this time, we have to do 2 rooms so are going with the inside rooms this cruise.
Mine doesn't really nap that much anymore, and will do fine so long as we get him to bed by about 8:30 or 9. He can sustain that for a few days before real crankiness sets in. Lol

We had no problem keeping our son busy when we cruised with him before he was old enough for the kids clubs. He enjoyed:
  • Kids club open houses
  • shows and movies (sat near aisle so that we could leave early if he got bored)
  • Wakeup with Disney Junior
  • Meeting characters
  • Climbing on all the porthole window seats
  • Watching cartoons on the stateroom TV
  • Dancing to whatever live music was going on
  • Playing with his own toys and books from home on deck
  • Splash area
  • Playing with the ping pong balls in the sports area
  • Being fussed over by pretty much every cast member he saw
  • Wandering around the ship exploring

Traveled with two 2.9 year olds and a 1 year old earlier this year on the Magic and last year on the Fantasy when they were 2. Our at sea days kinda went like this: breakfast at cabanas, wake up with Dis Jr, open house in the club, craft time (some worked for 2 year old like making buttons, some didn't like origami) or swimming/splash area, lunch in cabanas, nap, swimming, meet characters, dinner in MDR, dance parties and characters. You can be as busy as you want to be. I would suggest making potty training a priority....I didn't see which ship you were on, but the splash area on the magic is super sad (entertained them at 15 months in 2014, but they didn't look twice at 2.9). If on fantasy or dream you could easily spend an hour in the splash area and have to drag ur kid out!
