What to do...? (ME related)

Alright heres the scenario. We land at MCO at Midnight this Saturday, May 14. The CMs at the ME number told us there we still me ME reps at MCO this late, but we still haven't received our tags or anything else. The bags that we're bring are pretty distinct bags since they're my old high school tennis bags that my school gave me. So should we just go with the flow and see what happens or try something else. We can't rent a car yet since neither me or my girlfriend are 21 yet. Anyone got any ideas or help.

If I were you, I would call Disney Customer Service and tell them that you are wondering where your tags are. If you don't receve them by the time of departure, I would check the bags and let the cm's know at MCO that you never receved you luggage tags. Beleve me, they wont be busy at midnight Worst case senario would be that they cant find your bags, and you end up getting them off the belt, like you used to do before ME.

You know, you could always take a cab if you couldn't find anyone with ME. But I would call DCS and ask for some type of back up plan (24 hr phone#) if you can not locate someone.

If you are registered for Magical Express I would call them again and verify that. Then don't worry. Disney has your information and they will transport you to the resort. They have the flight info and know when flights are due in.

Ask at least twice for a written confirmation that you are on Magical Express, getting the name of the person you talked to each time.

So long as they have your flight information, they will be at the airport to serve you, however at that late hour they reserve the right to put you on a vehicle other than a bus with "Magical Express" painted on it side.

At that late hour it is less likely you will be directed to "recheck" your bags with Magical Express if you happened to retrieve them yourself.

I just called today because we haven't received our tags either and we leave on Friday night. They said that if you didn't have your tags a disney representive will be there to direct. However, I don't intend to give them our luggage tags. I don't trust them enough to pull them from the claim area and I think, it is too easy to walk out of the airport with someone else's luggage. I would be okay if they could grab our luggage before it came to the claim area but not after. GL....

I arrive at midnight on the 20th and was worried about this as well. I called to see what to do and what I was told was to not use the luggage tags and to handle my bags myself. They said that luggage runs about 3 hours behind so that would be about 3 AM when my bags would get to me. Don't really want a knock on the door then. Don't really want to wait until morning to get my bags. I usually want to shower before going to be. So basically they said to not tag your bags (if you even get tags) and get them yourself. Then head on downstairs and check in and get on the bus. If you are arriving that late, you really are only going to utilize the bus from the airport and not the luggage service if you want your stuff with you in your room right away.
