what to do in World Showcase???

The beauty of WS is in the details. My dream day by myself at WDW would be just walking around WS eating and watching the various performers. I like to just soak up the atmosphere and do window shopping.

DD always loved making the mask and would probably do it today (she is 15) if I would let her. She LOVED doing the passport when she was older say around 10. The CM from each country would talk to her and she could ask them questions. Then they would show her what her name would look like in their country and then they would sign alittle something and then re-write it in English. She found this very interesting.

We also love to:

1. Eat our way around the countries.
2. Get a magarita in Mexico and a beer in Germany.
3. Watch the steet performers in UK - Love them.
4. France also has good performers.
5. I don't know it they are still there but the living statues in France is big fun.
6. The boat ride and shops inside the Mexico pavilion.

Just take your time going around the "World" enjoying the food and shops. You may not want to do every countries movie because sometimes it can take up alot of time but do at least one. And if you are hot and want to rest and cool off they are a great place for this! Unfortuantly when we do a movie, when the lights come on half of the people are asleep.

If you are hot and tired, France has a movie without narration, just music. It is very pleasant and you can give your feet a rest. China has a wonderful film but you have to stand. Canada has a good film but you also have to stand. I am Canadian but I have to wonder - why don't they show things that better depict our country. I can't believe some of the things in that film.

What I really want to do this time is look behind all the buildings at the gardens and the mazes, etc. And take lots of pictures with my new camera.
