We are coming in for a 6 day stay on Saturday and have not even considered cancelling because of Wilma. But we are packing the real raincoats and expecting some wet weather. Typically on rainy days, what attractions are still open in the parks? Just trying to figure out if we need to rearrange our park order due to the weather. Thanks! :umbrella:

you can do just about everything in the rain....in orlando rain is normal....when we visit in the summer, it rains every single day...usually only for a few hours but every now and then for much longer than that....
no big deal....you can do everything (except perhaps swim - but you can do that too as long as there's no lightening)...

let's see....what's really closed in the rain?.....i think that thunder mountain at the magic kingdom is closed in the rain....that's all i can think of at the MK....
at epcot, test track is only closed if there's lightening.....we rode it in the rain in july....
what else.....hmmm.....that's all i can think of that's closed in the rain....
the problem is lightening not rain....rain's no big deal in orlando...

If there is lightning in the area, more will close. I do believe they shut down water rides if it is around, so that would be Splash Mtn and Kali. The waterparks clear the water and wait for an hour before allowing people to get back in. If it doesn't clear, they will close the parks early.

Epcot is the best park in the rain - everything except Test Track is an indoors attraction. MGM may cancel the Stunt show. The backlot tour is not fun in the rain (especially if you are in the last car on the end). That park isn't too bad to do in the rain either.

The only rearranging I would do would be if you miss a firework show that you REALLY want to see that could get rained out.
