What to do if it rains?

In over 30 years of going to WDW I've had maybe one trip where it didn't rain at least one day, lots of trips where it rained every day. We just put on ponchos, or jackets, or carry and umbrella or just play in the rain without anything and go about our day.

Where are the views from inside? I know the ones that are outside. Do they leave the animals on the savannah if there is lightning?

In Jambo house, you can view the animals from the lobby, it’s not as nice as going out on the walkway. From Kidani, it’s the same process the area in front of Sanaa has some viewing areas, although again not as nice as if you can go outside.

I don’t know what the weather requirements are to bring the animals into their shelter. We did the night safari a year ago, and it was really informative and interesting. I might recommend that for you. One of the things that the trainer who was our guide said was that the animals are encouraged, but not necessarily required to come into their enclosures. There’s a variety of things to eat on their Savannah area, so sometimes they don’t like to go into the barns. I suppose of a very serious storm was coming, The animals would all be brought in. But if it’s just rain, they probably leave them outside. There are a number of lightning rods on the buildings, that probably helps to protect the animals also.

This^^ As a Florida native (49 years and counting;)) there's ALWAYS a chance it's going to rain, either all day, or 5 minutes. Just gotta make the best of it. There are tons of things to do:thumbsup2

I'm also a Florida native lol, I should know better about the weather. The forecast now is showing sunny so I hope it keeps to that.
