Hi ladies.

Jack and I were talking this morning about how much we're looking forward to waking up the day after our wedding, and then wondering how to spend the day?

We'll be in GF RPC, so want to make the most of it, but also want a super relaxing day as I'm sure we'll both need it!

We were thinking maybe a slow start (the excitement might have me awake super early but then I can always relax in the bath or go for a walk until Jack wakes up), just get breakfast bits from the lounge, and then lay by the pool. Maybe have afternoon tea in the Gardenview lounge.

Part of me wants to book V&As but I think in reality we'll have eaten a lot at the wedding so maybe no ADRs is the way to go, we can always get room service and enjoy it from our balcony.

As much as I love the parks we'll have 15 days after that to enjoy them so I'd like to enjoy the GF I think.

I'd love to know what you guys did the day after your weddings (maybe leave out the cheeky bits! ;))

I think going out to eat is a good idea.

Just like the excitement will have you up early the next day, (it did me too) the excitement will also keep you from eating a ton at your wedding. I ate a decent amount of food at our wedding, but I still wanted breakfast the next morning.

And even if you do eat alot at your wedding, you'll still be hungry by dinner the next day.

We were staying at the Contemporary, so we slept in, watched the Disney cartoons that revolve on the tv, and had some room service for breakfast.

Later that day we went to the California Grill to have dinner.

We didn't spend much time at the parks at all, and I had a lot of fun just lounging around during the day and going to dinners at night.

Our wedding is in August but we're staying RPC too and we plan to take it easy the day after the wedding. I made an ADR for lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe, just in case anyone wanted to join us before they leave. So far there are no takers. So if it stays that why maybe we'll just do room service or something by the pool.

Then we have dinner at V&A's. We've always wanted to go and I couldn't think of a better way to spend our first dinner alone together as a married couple. :goodvibes Although room service would be very nice too and you can actually order food from the GF restaurants. I know definitely Narcoosee's so I'm pretty sure you could get food from Citricos too.

:)

Thanks ladies.

Jack said earlier about getting searaycers if we do fancy doing something a bit active/different. I think that's a cool idea too, we'll definitely do it at some point during the trip, and would make sense while we're at GF. Although if we don't we can always get them when at BLT.

My parents are flying home that day, and will be having breakfast at Kona, but I really don't want to have to set an alarm, just in case we do sleep for hours and hours.

We'll see them before they leave as they're in RPC too, so we can have a drink before they leave to say a final thank you.

We are more than likely going to be at the AKL, we plan on sleeping late, having some breakfast probably from the food court or room service or concierge lounge if we do concierge.

After that we probably will meet with family and friends before they take off since we have a lot of international travelers coming. For dinner we will steal away and either do something small or run out to Orlando and have dinner downtown.

We have our MK photo shoot the next day super early so we will be back to the hotel early and back to bed so we can look our best and be full of pep for when our wake up call wakes us at 3 in the morning :rotfl:

We booked at the Beach Club, so that we could spend the day after the wedding floating around Stormalong Bay. We made reservations for a late dinner @ San Angel Inn. I thought it would be a nice romantic restaurant for our first married dinner!

Oooh, that sounds a lovely way to spend the day. :)

We were thinking maybe Kona Cafe dinner, nice and relaxed and then we can watch the pageant and wishes from a hammock with a nice cocktail before walking back to the GF.

We'll be staying at the Contemporary, so we figure breakfast in bed, hanging out, and going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Then next day we're having out MK shoot and I'm hoping for V&As.

We are going the complete opposite direction...the next morning we are waking up early and having our families get together and head to the Magic Kingdom Park, we are calling it "Ed & Annie's Magic Kingdom Tour"...of course we are having a morning ceremony followed by a brunch reception, so we can have a good nights sleep...we really wanted to enjoy the fact that we have both of our families their

Our honeymoon really isn't a honeymoon...it's a massive family vacation. We'll be spending it with family and friends visiting some park.

It's why we're planning a real "honeymoon" some time in the future!

Were planning exactly the same thing, not sure where to go for dinner though, we both wanted to try bistro de Paris but I'm not sure we will want to get dressed up the day after the wedding especially as we need to be all packed up as were going on a cruise the next day?

As my mcestry says for the first week our holiday is a family vacation so im sure at some point we will see our friends and family too.

:)

We are having the week before the wedding as a family at WDW week. I can't wait to show my family our favourite parts of the park.

Most of our friends are staying for 2 weeks so a lot of our honeymoon will be spent with various people at different parks. We want to be just the two of us on the day after, or even just the morning I guess.

I'm not sure if/when we'll be doing the MK shoot, I suppose if we do it'll be most likely 2 days after the wedding, so maybe an early night would be a good idea!

We're planning on having breakfast in bed, and then getting to Blizzard Beach @ noon. If there's enough time in between, we're going to relax and swim at the pool at our hotel (YC) before B.B.

I think V&A's would probably be a lot the day after. We have an ADR for 'Ohana (I figured that was relaxing and casual enough) w/enough time between B.B. and that to go back our room and shower and get ready. :)

Hey, Boardwalk bride! Are you gonna be at the Beach Club while I'm at the Yacht Club? love Stormalong Bay! and San Angel Inn! :)

We are staying at the GF also and are doing the MK photo shoot that day most likely, so then we will spend the rest of the day just relaxing by the pool and on the beach and enjoying the GF. Then we will do dinner at the GF either V&A or Citricos and watch Wishes from the Poly beach with champagne! At least that's what I'm thinking now...

The searaycer boats are sooo much fun! We got them from GF last we were in Disney and me and DF both loved them. I would deff. suggest renting them!

Your pictures in your sig are gorgeous! Would you mind sharing who did your photography?

If you are staying at the GF I would def book V&As and try to get the chefs table. Tea is also a lot of fun. I wouldn't do them both in the same day though.

A relaxing day sounds like it would be awesome. Just keep in mind that for the weeks leading up to the big day you are going to be going crazy and then for everything to come to a screaching holt - it may be hard to just sit back and relax. I would have two game plans - an active one and a totally relaxed lay by the pool one. Then just see what you feel up for.

we met the family for breakfast the next day at chef mickeys. then we went to animal kingdom with my friend and my husbands brothers and wives. that night we booked california grill for the fireworks at MK it was amazing best night ever. i recommend the bison if you go there.:goodvibes

hi Torsie!!

i think a relaxing day following the wedding is a must! if i was you and staying at the GF i would take advantage of the GF Spa and book a couples massage!! i think getting dressed up for V&A's sounds like a lovely idea too!

what we plan to do the day after the wedding is spend the day at Discovery Cove as we've never swam with dolphins so it's something we're really looking forward to, almost as much as the wedding itself!! i wanted something memorable, and something for us to look forward to after it's all over. i've never been but i've read it's really peaceful and relaxing, and you get meals included too!

you could always book a romantic hot air balloon ride or something? or you could go for a romantic bike ride? or just wake up and see what you fancy doing on the day :goodvibes

We are starting our morning off busy, when I asked DF how he felt about getting married at Disney he said that's great as long as I can do the Richard Petty Experience again. I said sure after the wedding, soooo he is doing the experience the morning after! Men ... LOL :lmao:

I have invited all of our guests to join me in 'cheering' him on, then he and I plan to relax the rest of the day.

Also his Birthday is two days after our wedding, so we are going to plan a nice dinner that night. Not sure where yet, all depends on our mood and where we can get into. :rotfl:
