What to do at St Thomas / St Johns

We are going in first week of September and my DS who is 12 is bringing a friend who will be 11. Thinking about just going to a beach for the day but I do not want the boys to be bored any recommendation would greatly be appreciated.

PS (I have heard that there are water trampolines--not for sure what these are I can only imagine by the description)

They are exactly what you are thinking. Big trampolines floating in the water. They sometimes have slides attached to them.

We did the Atlantis submarine in St. Thomas and had a great time. Go up to 100 feet underwater and sea all sorts of sea life. Great way to occupy a few hours in the morning. Good luck.
