We are arriving on Sat, and not going to the parks til Sunday, I thought about doing boardwalk Sat night, never been, what is there to do and eat??

Flying Fish-seafood, Spoodles-Mediterranean, ESPN-pub food, Big River Grille-brewery/pub.

There is also a take out pizza window and a couple of little stands with corn dogs and such.

There are usually some kind of entertainers on the Boardwalk in the evening, which are fun, there are a couple of shops, there is Jellyrolls if you like dueling piano bars it is a lot of fun. Don't forget you can also go to the Yacht & Beach Club where there are restaurants and shops, and also the Swan & Dolphin. We often just wander along and people watch.

DH and I were at the boardwalk on our first day at WDW. We ate dinner at Spoodles and loved it!!! It was also fun to walk around, watch people, and look into shops. It was low key, but I consider it one of my favorite parts of the trip.

The Boardwalk is very nice but don't expect the Jersey Shore, it's not that kind of Boardwalk, it's very low key with shops and restaurants and an occasional game or two or "street" performer. The Beach/Yacht Club is across the way, you can walk over there after dinner and have dessert at Beaches and Cream.

All the 'Epcot Resorts' , Swan, Dolphin, BC, YC and Boardwalk itself are an easy walk from Boardwalk. You've got a lot of fine dining choices there, we have ressies for Spoodles and the Clam Bake for next March, but there's some good slumming to be done, too. ESPN has a nice Pub Grub menu, draft beer and sports on TV out the whazoo. Big River Brewery is a micro-brewery with food also, and JellyRolls is a dueling piano bar for the 21 and over crowd. After dark there are street performers, jugglers and magicians doing their acts on the boards. It's a great bit of non-park entertainment and we'll be spending our arrival day there next year as well.

Jellyrolls is a blast if you're old enough.

You will enjoy it at the boardwalk.

You can also ride the boat around, just to see the sights! And yes, you can walk from cape may to BW. :cool1:

If you're looking for something sweet, there is a bakery there that has some of the best looking and tasting pastries. Grab a cup of coffee and a couple of pastries, get a bench over by the lake and enjoy! :thumbsup2
