We (DH, 3 yr old twins, me, my mom) will be going to WDW in mid Sept. We are bringing our double side-by-side stroller (lots of storage underneath!). One backpack with change of clothes, dry snacks, ponchos, sunscreen, . Another for video & regular cameras, autograph books/pens and stroller cover. Can we bring a small (like the size of a kids lunch box) soft-sided cooler into the parks with some bottled water/juice boxes? Does Disney inspect your stroller/backpacks on entry?

I have seen those backpacks with the attachable cooler (about the same size that I am talking about), but we have so many backpacks and little soft coolers already, I was trying not to purchase those. Do you take everything out of stroller when you go on the rides/go into restaurants?

Thanks for your help! Are there any other essentials to bring in with you ?

My two youngest children are DS/5 and DD/3.
These two drink more in a few hours than I do all day.
And to buy this many drinks at WDW would cost a small
fortune. Plus, I don't want them drinking so many sodas.
We always carry a small cooler(it holds like a 6pk of soda).
It fits perfectly into the bakset under our stroller.
I buy the Capri Suns, Lemonades and things like that in pouches.
I usually freeze a couple of them and then just lay them on
top of the others to keep everything cool in the cooler.
This has worked well for us and no one has ever asked to
look into our cooler.
I hope this helps and that you have a great trip!!!!

We always bring a small soft cooler into the parks. We just leave it in the basket under the carriage and have never had anyone question us about it. When we go into rides etc. we leave everything in the carriage except the video and camera case. We have never run into a proble of theft. I would not leave any valuables in the carriage though.:bounce: :bounce:

Less means more. Are you staying on property? This can make a difference!

We have one boy and he is very low maintenance. First day, we buy the bottled water and then fill and freeze for future! We like to buy fresh fruit at the stands for a quick fix!

The only time we needed to change son is when he got wet from Ariel's Grotto near Dumbo in MK! So we bought him an outfit at the shop! If you need first aid or diapers, etc. MK has an office off of Main Street USA (just before Walt's statue). You can purchase whatever you may need. We leave our stuff in the stroller and have never encountered a problem.

Also, WDW has not "inspected" any of my belongings. Definitely bring your autograph book and a camera! We bring a still and digital camera along with a camcorder! No more! This year we're only bringing the digital (takes movies and stills), then sending to lab if we decide to print.

Enjoy your trip............
