My auntie is going to Florida for 2 weeks over Christmas and
Has very kindly told my 2 dd who are age 3 & 4 that she will
Bring them a few things back so to write a list if things Disney related things they would like.
They have never been and I last went 7 years ago and my mind
Has gone blank!!

What would you suggest if you were asked this??

I've got a DD who is 4.

We love our red mickey shaped pancake maker - cost $6.95 - we often have them for weekend breakfast.

Princess dresses are lovely from WDW but cost $60.

My daughter loves the disney polly pocket sets - think they are $12.95 - they do them in all princesses.

How about flight tickets for all the family for next year

:lmao:

Those Polly Pocket style dress up Disney characters are a good buy. My DD still has her Minnie one (she is now 8!). They come in a plastic carry case and just like Polly Pocket, the clothes and accessorie are that rubbery material so it's easy to dress them. They were still around $12.95 per set last month and what is nice is that they are a little more chunky than Polly Pocket so more durable and less fiddly. You can get them at most of the larger stores there. Mousegear at Epcot always has a good range.

My daughter also used to like those character purses with the candy inside. She has quite a collection of them now.

Mine liked the "hoodies" and silly bandz - the big craze is nearly over over there, but gaining quickly over here.... Rubber bands in various shapes they wear on their wrist and swap doubles with friends. We got Harry Potter ones from Universal and Disney princesses - wrist bands and ring bands.

I bought lovely charm bracelets for my girls for Xmas, and loads of stocking filler type stuff - the special character pens and flannel blocks you put in water to expand, as well as tons of fridge magnets - they are 8 and 9 and still make up silly games on the fridge!!!!:confused3. My girls also loved the "post-it" type notes in the shape of the castle and the frog from the princess and the frog film... Picture frames and torches also seemed good value this year. And my 8 year old said the best thing she bought was a bobble head Donald duck.

There seemed to be LOTS of vinylmation stuff - not my thing, but some folk go wild for the little plastic things.... and also little mini mini figures - you buy them "blind" a few in a pack. When mine were littler they would have loved them - why is it they love the HUGE stuffed toys and the teeeeeniest plastic figures.

The best thing I EVER bought at Disney was my snowglobe - ok, its massive but you can get it shipped. You cant get as nice snowglobes over here as you can at DisneyWorld

Just remember no snowglobes in hand luggage...... could be an expensive oversight...

My DD is 5 - this could be quite a list! :rotfl:

My DD loves the hair accessories that you can get from Disney, she has a nice collection of clips and hair bobbles now, they are a good price range as well you can pick bits up for about $2 upwards.

DD likes the colouring pen sets and mickey shaped writing pens, little pads, stampers, stickers, and other scrap booking bits that she uses for her arts and crafts.

Tee shirts, hats, the charm bracelets and little charms. An insulated lunch bag for when they start school / nursery, nobody else will have one the same so it won't get mixed up!

Fill a box with My Little Pony or Mr Potato Head - my DD and DS both LOVE these things, it's great fun dressing the ponies up in their princess gear!

Any thing plush, or cuddly!

Hope that helps!

oh yes the fill a box pony and potato pieces from once upon a toy at DTD are great - DD has those. All ages seem to like playing with them and something a bit different.

These are great ideas thank you!! The potato head parts sound
Great! They have the basic pot from the d store over here and are
Always playing with them!
They do need new lunch boxes so that's def going on the list I'd love
The polly pocket style sets sound great to could use them anywhere!!
And I think the pancake maker and flights will be on my list!!

I love snow globes too!!! I have 4 so far!! I really wanted to get 1 when we were in dlrp last year it was hooks ship with loads of the characters but was massive so couldn't bring it back on the plane!! Thanks fir the heads up on the no snow globes in hand luggage!! Not going till 2012 but good to know these things!! X

Oooh I totally forgot about My Little Pony! Once Upon A Toy at DTD sells them. Fill a box for $17.99 and you can put as many ponies in as you want. The Pony accessories are tiny compared to Mr Potato Head so you can ram a good load of stuff in there. DD got one 2 years ago and we STUFFED that box :lmao:
