What time should we be at Mk on the 4th of July

What time should we be at the MK on the 4th of July? I know to expect the park to reach stage 4.... but would anyone know around what time this usually happens? Also, besides magnificent fireworks, what can we look forward to?

Not sure about 7/4 but DW and I where at MK on 12/31 and the park was at capacity about an hour after it opened. We opted to do a fireworks cruise from the WL and the fireworks were awesome.

I you want to insure that you make it in, BE there at least 30 minutes BEFORE the park opens! It will pack out and reach capacity! Thanksgiving and Christmas Days are the same way!

LOL-We will be in DW on July 4th but are not going near the MK that day.

sugermouse....Have you been there for the 4th of July before? It'll be our first time....is it worth the trouble of being in an overcrowded park all day with 4 children?

Seriously our cruise gets in that morning and we had planned to spend the afternoon and night at MK. We have to check into the hotel and get our Ultimate tickets also. Should we even try or what would be a good alternative.

Well, we were there last 4th of July. We arrived and went into the park around 7PM and had no trouble getting in. Honestly, I didn't think it was any busier than an average July day.
