What time should I be at Pirates & Pals Cruise with 9:00 fireworks?

The night that we are doing Pirates & Pals (at Contemporary) the fireworks will be at 9:00 PM. What time will the doors open for the party? I'm thinking 7:30 (1.5 hours before) - When I made the reservation (a while back), the CM wasn't sure.

We have a 5:30 ADR at BOG, and I was hoping to do another FP+ after dinner (say, 7:00-ish?) Am I cutting it too close? How long will it take us to walk from Fantasyland to CR? (I'll have 10-year olds with me, so they are fine to walk)

I would probably call back to check on that one, when I did it last year they knew exactly what time to tell me to be there. I believe it was 45 min before the boat was set to sail cause there's a little pre-party with desert and Captain Hook and Smee are there. I wouldn't do a FP+ after dinner, I would want to make sure I had enough time to find the room it's being held in, that's just me though.

As long as you plan on walking and not waiting for a monorail that should be sufficient.

Party will start at 7:45. You will need to check in beforehand. Figure at least 20 mins from Fantasyland to the Contemporary 2nd floor check in. If you are not worried about having time for food AND the meet and greet, then you could arrive after the start time. Party lasts 30 mins. Meet and greet ends a few minutes before that.
