What time LL with 8:20 am breakfast reservation?

Doing two days at Magic Kingdom

For first day, we have 8:20 am breakfast reservations at Crystal Palace (daughter is a huge Pooh fan). Have an alert set to try and snag the 8 am. Either way, plan is to get there early for some castle photos, etc then have breakfast.

My question, what time should I aim to book our first LL? I think the first selection time is 8:30-9:30 which obviously won’t work since we’ll be eating! Just wasn’t sure how long breakfast may last?

In a perfect world, we’ll snag a Peter Pan LL first.

The return times for Peter Pan increase very quickly. Personally I would accept any return time that ends 9:45 or later in order to enjoy a relaxed breakfast. That being the case, you may still find your return time is later than that even at 7AM as PP return times quickly increase. If the first one displayed is too early, a quick refresh should give you something later.

Another option is to grab whatever you see at 7AM and if it's too early, modify it for later but I think that may be more challenging then a quick refresh but others may suggest differently.

I don't think getting a LL time for PP that is too early will be a challenge due to the speed they fill.

Also, please note that a LL return time is good for 15 mins after it's return window so a LL that is from 8:30 - 9:30 will be honoured from 8:25 - 9:45.

You won’t be able to see return times at 7am. Those don’t pop up until a little later in the morning to avoid the complaints about times changing between picking a time and securing that time. I would grab your PP LL, and then if it isn’t a time you like, you can cancel or modify.
