what time is rope drop for toontown

The search function is down and we are travelling with a little one for the first time in years. Can anyone tell me what time the rope drops for toontown and do the characters come out to help. Thanks.

Toon Town in Aug opened at 10am. Worked out well on the EE day. We got all the major attractions in then walked over to Toon Town and got lots of autographs/pics for 5yr old son.

Can you tell me about the strategy of the rope drop in Toon Town? I've heard about it on these boards. Do you enter the park via the castle and head there? Are there different rope drops in different sections of the park?

For Toon Town you have 2 options, you can enter via the castle and the rope is up just past the Tea Cups... or you can take the Train from Main Street (or Frontierland) and the rope is up just outside Mickey's house... (you could also walk from Tomorrowland to the same place the train would drop you off. If you are looking to be the first into Mickey's house, your best bet is to be in the back via the train or the Tomorrowland pathway

I am sorry for my ignorance but this is the first in all of my reserach that I have heard of a "rope drop" besides the one to first get into the park when it opens.

Does this mean that different parts of the park open at different times? I remember reading that Adventureland might open later but never the other attractions. What is this?
