Howdy Mike!!! I sent you a PM!!! Oh on the apt … look again at slide # 3 and its the (mustard) yellow apt at the very top that wraps around the building on your right as you look at the slideshow. You will see 3 ceiling to floor windows, that is the living room. There is a balcony off the dining room and then there are two more windows to the right of the balcony … each window is in a bedroom. HTH!


Now do you have DATES for the December trip? YEAHHHH, Mike and Heather in Disneyland!!! And Christmas at DL is so FESTIVE!!!

Replied to your PM. Sorry to disappoint you, but Christmas would actually be at WDW next year. DL would be in August. The same time we go to SD. God willing, maybe we could do DL during Christmas in 2013.

I'll have to look at the link again. I'm pretty sure I was looking at the right apt., but now that you have given a better description I'll have to look again.

Today has been the coldest day so far this winter. Can't really say this year because if you recall, we were below zero several times at the beginning of the year. When I woke up, it was only 20 degrees outside.

9:50am and its warmed up to 29 degrees. Wind chill making it feel like 23.

Luv, can't wait to go to your neck of the woods next weekend.

I HAVE POWER again! We got 6 inches or so of heavy wet snow, with the leaves still on must of the trees around here we had a big and still having in some areas. Power outages, we lost ours for four days. Got down to 50 here in the house and that's with my fireplace going during the day and evenings. Not at night didn't want to stay up to watch it. I work from home so was off work too!


It's 3:51p and 56 degrees and we lost the sunit was out this morning not anymore.

It was a very chilly 60º this morning at 8a.m. in Phoenix, AZ.

AHHHHHHHHHH...what is going on here!?!?
8AM- cloudy and 45 degrees! And we had very high winds and rain during the night! Crazy!

Here are a few pictures I took from upstairs this morning. It was so strange to look out and see all these clouds hanging so low over the mountains. I'd say 95% of the time when I look out in the mornings, I see a beautiful sun coming up over those mountains.

Only going for a high of 63 today, and temps for the following week are all over the place, from the low 60s to the low/mid 70s.

Thumper Man- It's supposed to be in the mid-70s toward the end of the week, so hopefully, you'll have nice weather when you're in the area!

The sun took a short field trip. It is back and shining brightly, although it's almost 11am and only 50 degrees!

Oh sheesh, luv, I feel your pain … when we arrived in May 2008, we settled into corporate housing in an awesome complex in Irvine. Ok, we are loving it and then OUT.OF.THE.BLUE we get a call from corporate housing and they have mistakenly rented the apt we are IN … WHAT? We drove to their offices and right there in the middle of everyone I screamed and screamed like I have never seen, let alone my DH. I mean I was still so blue from missing my family back east and making this huge relo … that I just YELLED at everyone and HOW COULD THEY JUST UP AND RENT OUT OUR UNIT??? Well it appeared they were getting a FULL YEAR from a family overseas. We were only going to be there 6 months. Not that that still should have happened.

So they moved us to beautiful new 'digs' in Newport Beach. I picked out all the furniture myself that they were going to decorate our apt with (which that does not usually happen). They came and decorated all the walls. While we loved THIS unit … it was on the 2nd floor. After living there for 3 months, we had the choice to STAY in that unit or move … we MOVED, yup. We stayed in the same complex but we needed a TOP floor. DH & I could not stand people living above us.

So we moved again to a top floor apt. LOVED IT! Then DH gets the new job in San Diego … off we go to SD!!! And now we are headed back to the OC!!! So from May 2008 - November 2011, this will be move #5 in 3.5 years!

We experienced the same type of weather yesterday. Cloudy, cold, windy and occasional rain. I don't even think we got into the 60's yesterday. Looking at our weather history, we didn't even get into the 50's. Seems our highest temp yesterday was 48.

When I woke up this morning, temp was only 21. Sunny and clear. Some hot air balloons up this morning to.

9:33 am and it's warmed up to 36.

Luv, we're hoping for good weather as well. 70's would be shorts and t-shirt weather for us.

Ferb we'll be closer to your neck of the woods. Hope you come back and give us a weekend forecast.

Nearest town is Wasilla for me.

It's 7:45, dark, 23 degrees, and snowing so hard it just took my landlord an hour to drive 10 miles (I rent a room, so he told me as he came in). DS will be happy for some real snow when he wakes up.

Wow! The Northeast has been warmer than the Southwest for the past few days.

Tucson- 8AM and 35 degrees! My husband just remarked that we need to find a warmer place to spend our winters.

The sun is shining brightly, though, and the temp is supposed to hit 70 later today.

Yeah. We will be staying closer to Phoenix. Been keeping an eye on the weather. Looks like there might be chances of rain there when we go. At least the temps won't be like they are here.

Another cold morning. Supposed to warm up a little bit around here before the next system moves in. At least the sun is out.
