It's 9:31a and 47 degrees and yes it's RAINING again/still:mad:

Good wet/rainy Morning from San Diego. :sad2:

It is cold (55 degrees) and wet. This is NOT my SoCal. And we are going to have rain all day. :headache:

You guys need to come have lunch with me this afternoon! I plan on eating outside under the umbrella in my backyard.:)

It is 8:50am, sunny and 64 degrees. We have a few wispy clouds, but the sun is out and it is going for a high of 82 this afternoon.:cool1: This week is actually a bit below average for this time of year. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 70s and then in the 80s toward the end of the week.

If anyone is looking for the sun, it can be found right here in Tucson. I've NEVER seen so much sun as I've seen since we moved here. The only downside is that the summers are extremely hot and the sun is relentless.:scared1: Come July, August and September, we'll be wishing for some rain and cloudy days!

Momrek06- I thought of you this morning! I was on the Amtrak's Downeaster site looking at schedules and trying to figure out which day to get train tickets.:) We're going to be in Maine for two weeks in July and one of the days we're taking the Downeaster from OOB and spending the day in Boston. I want to purchase the tickets, but I'm hesitant because I'm afraid the day we choose to go to Boston will be the only sunny day of our vacation. I'd rather go on a cloudy day and save the sunny days for the beach, but of course we can't predict the weather before it happens!

I've also talked with friends and family back in Maine and they are so tired of the rain and clouds. Everyone has asked if there'll be a guest room in our new house. They're all ready to come out to Arizona for a vacation.:rotfl:

nhpooh- I hope this summer isn't going to be like the one a few years ago where it rained almost every single day in June and July.

Hang in there, everyone. Hopefully, the rain will stop soon and the sun will shine!

Awww, luv, did you remember my DH was head of the construction and design of the Downeaster and wasn't your DD in a commercial for the Downeaster!!!! :thumbsup2
As far as I am hearing, heads up, the Downeaster sells out fast. So just keep that in mind. My Boston family are on it all the time coming and going to my parents home in ME. They go in and out of the Wells Depot. Do you want to know something … I have NEVER been on the Downeaster  … after Brett finished up the Downeaster he was off to NYC to head up the design of the new Port for the Port Authority.

One day of this pouring rain is all I can take. They kept announcing it all day yesterday, that San Diego was going to have rain today and I was  listening to those reports.

Enjoy your :sunny: lunch on your :sunny: day in :sunny: Tucson!!!!

:sad1: ----> Kar.

Yes!

We've never had a problem getting tickets for the Downeaster, but this trip we need eight seats. Guess I better book in advance. We've always travelled out of the Wells depot, but this trip we're going to leave from the one in OOB, which only operates during the summer. Our grandson, Carter, is going to LOVE riding the Downeaster!:thumbsup2

I just saw this post, to late for lunch yesterday how about today?

I have cousins that live in AZ, they are always saying how nice it is out there. I have visited them many times, just haven't made the move.

Well I must sound like a broken record but the same as yesterday and the day before. :confused3 It's 10:50a and 50 degrees, with drizzle:sad2:

I hope we don't have a summer like that, with rain every day. Not much of a spring around here:sad1:

Just about any day here is good for a backyard lunch!

10:00am and 70 degrees. We actually have some clouds in the sky, but they are big, puffy ones and the sun is in and out. Beautiful morning for a nice, long walk!

Let's just say this...I'm not usually one to give up on Wisconsin weather but so far we had VERY few days that would be considered spring weather. It is really getting annoying. It's probably going to go right to hot and humid this year.
