Well wouldn't you know it. First time I plan to have a bbq at my house and it's supposed to be windy. :furious: When will these winds ever end. :sad2:

Yes I know, I complain about the winds, I just thank God I'm not dealing with all the tornadoes. My heart goes out to all those people.

12:54 and just slightly breezy at the moment. Winds are supposed to crank up again later. 80 degrees at the moment.

I am with you on the wind thing, I HATE wind. A breeze ok, just not windy like it's been or like you have been having.

Where did everyone go!?!? I hope everyone had a relaxing three-day weekend and the weather cooperated for everyone.:)

7:30am- overcast and 72 degrees. I'm sure the sun will come out soon. Temps this week have been in the high 90s/low 100s! Hot, hot days, but when the sun goes down in the evenings, the temps drop to comfortable levels. Love the early mornings and late evenings in June, July and August here.

I am back, had a great time in Maine. Weather was great, high to low 80's:banana:had some sea food for you Luv!

It's 10:54a and 75 degrees, cloudy now just had a thunder storm come thru.

Hot all week here in NC. High today supposed to reach 97- 7 day forecast looks like a repeat every day. Lows in low 70's, highs in mid 90's, 20% chance of afternoon thunderstorms. I am already ready for fall, and it isn't even summer yet!

It's 12:08p and 77 degrees.

We didn't get a spring this year went right into hot and humid around here:confused3

HAPPY JUNE!!! :cool1:

Hope everyone had a fabulous holiday weekend!! Weather was wonderful all weekend long in SD!! :sunny:

SoCal has what is termed "Gray May" and "June Gloom" … as that annoying marine layer may arrive for a portion of the mornings in May/June. Well I can safely say we did not have allot of gray May mornings … so bring on June!!! ::yes::

9:14am 67 degrees. Bright sun. Will get to 70's today. :goodvibes

They say we may get some rain. :woohoo: Nothing has changed in the wind dept. They're still here. :headache:

11:42 am. Cloudy, yup still windy and currently 78. Come on rain. pixiedust:

HAPPY JUNE!!! :cool1:

As Ellen would say, "Right back atcha!" Hope you have a beautiful June without too many "gloomy" mornings. We loved our visit to San Diego last June!:thumbsup2

Nooooooooooo! What is up with that weather!

I was on the phone this morning with a photography studio in Maine, setting up a family beach photo session which will take place on an evening in July. She had one date open and luckily, one raindate open. I'm crossing my fingers that the weather cooperates!

1PM- sunny and 98 degrees!:cool1:

ETA: My husband was just talking on the phone with a friend in Saco, Maine and he said they had experienced a storm with hail the size of golf balls!

6:30 pm and 87 degrees. We were supposed to get heavy rain this afternoon but that's passed.

I am just hearing that and reading it all over my east coast friends FB page. Stay safe, Sue. I am hearing Springfield, MA.

88 humid and cloudy in Queens, NY. Waiting all day for the thunderstorm that still has not developed.

Yup! I guess from what I hear they had 7 tornados yesterday in Ma. Two in Springfield and two another town near them, can't remember the name of it now. One near my cousin's house in Charlton, there ok it was about a mile away from them. I guess from what they are saying it kinda went up rt 20 and the mass pike.
I thought I was in New England not out west were they get these things more. We had tornado watch untill 11p last night, nothing up here I don't think.

It's 8:58a and 66 degrees, getting windy but the sun is out and low humidity!

Yes, I spoke with all the east coast fam and they said yesterday was scary yet amazing. Dark dark skies, intense humidity and then there it was a tornado that came into town (that sounded just like a freight train) and left as quickly as it arrived. But the destruction in Springfield and Worcester counties … :sad2:
Man o man, Sue, between the horrible winter and the wet spring and now this … what is going on in this country with the weather? :sad2:

7:45am bright sun, 63 degrees (on its way to 70). :sunny:

Glad to hear you stayed safe.

Wet Spring? :confused3 Wet Spring where? I know definitely not here. :rotfl: It's still been hot and dry around here. In our part of the state, we're in extreme drought conditions. We also have another fire burning towards your Mike's neck of the woods (well his neck of the wood's last year anyways). Not as close, but up in that part of the state. We had some chances for rain yesterday. Cloudy and looked promising, but all it did was kick up the winds. No rain.:sad2:

Cloudy again today. But can't tell if that's from all the smoke or if it's actually cloudy. The winds have shifted the smoke our way.

9:00 am and it's currently 72 degrees.

HIYA, Mike,, as far as 'wet spring', I was referring to the east coast. They have had their share of not so favorable weather this past year. :sad2:

Oh and my Mike, he so misses Cimarron and Philmont. All the Rangers started calling him when they all arrived in late April. He was so jealous BUT now he is in London for the next 6 weeks doing a law internship with a UK judge. AND this weekend, he is off to Paris for some fun! :goodvibes
