Hi, Weather Disers! Its been crazy busy here, and I think I've missed a lot. nhpooh, I hope your daughter arrives home safely before the really bad weather. And I hope you stay warm!

It's 11:29 and 29 out - we have 1" of snow -maybe. Who would have guessed that there is no snow in Buffalo!!!!! I have a new snow blower that I haven't used once yet. I'm not complaining!!!!!!

-28 is the reading from Environment Canada @ the local airport. My house is a balmy -26.5 ....that's celcius btw.

Regardless of the January temps in central Florida, I think I will be OK in shorts and t-shirt 80 percent of the time. Any way you look at it, a fifty degree celcius rise in temp is a big difference.

Here it is 7:23am and already 58 degrees. Yesterday, the first day of winter, was the warmest we've been all December. Today should be nice, too.

One of our old neighbors said yesterday in an email he's cold, winter has arrived in Florida. I guess it was in the 40's in the morning then warmed up to the mid 50's. I said don't you remember the temps up here, 20's all day yesterday. I guess after being down there for 5 years has thinned there blood out, or what ever happens What I would give for temps in the 50's now.

That's not cool, try this 1:35p and 29 degrees and very windy. I know it's cool for out there, just like my friends in Florida who are saying it's cold. Really at 55 degrees I would be comfortable, oh well!

Well we have only gone up 1 degree to 56 now!! BUT we have some high winds going on and its not the Santa Ana's because those bring in warm winds. This is cold wind.
