Because I have such a sunny balcony I decided to grow some CACTI ... here is a pic I took today!!! I bought them all when they were little, little for $1.00 each and then replanted them and they are growing so nicely!!!
No more room for me and my tea in the a.m.!!!

Hey, you've got an Arizona garden growing there! Very nice! I get SO frustrated because I can't grow anything. I KILL every plant/flower/shrub that I bring home. The only plant that has survived since we moved out here is a cactus/palm-like thingy that I bought at Walmart. It looks like a very small palm tree. So far, so good. It doesn't require much maintenance, but I still bet it isn't going to live for long.:sad2: I definitely do not have a green thumb!

I think we have everyone beat in hot weather today. It is 4:00PM and 103 degrees. We've had a string of days in the 100s and next week is showing temps ranging from 100-105. Nobody is outside during the day here. People get out early in the morning or after the sun goes down, and even then it is hot! I have not acclimated to these temps yet!

I'm in Orlando at the moment and it's actually NICE outside. Thank goodness for the storms we had earlier today. Right now, it's 81 degrees. I just hope the temp drops more overnight 'cause I've got a long training run scheduled for myself early tomorrow morning. :headache:

It's 8:12a and 72 degrees. Got up to the 90's this weekend here.

We were up in the 90's over the weekend as well. For us, that's really getting hot.
93 on Saturday.
94 on Sunday.

Today is also supposed to be in the 90's.

10:35am and it's 84 degrees.

HA ... luv, I think you are right ... we have traveled allot throughout AZ and we love CACTI!!! So, you are right, looks like an AZ garden ... :lmao:

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend!!!! :cool1:

10:02am in San Diego. 65 degrees. Bright sun. :sunny: Going to continue to be a lovely week. Low comfy temps, 70's, bright sun!!!

It's 1:02p and 83 degrees, they say we will get to about 88 today. We have less humidity too today, thats a great thing. Was way to humid over the weekend...

Well yesterday there was a heavy rainshower where I live a-la Florida style, but in the town 60 miles away they had a large tornado hit (which is rare for Montana). It destroyed the city's main stadium and other buildings and businesses and there were massive floods. If you watched the Today show this morning, it was the first thing on the headlines. Everyone's alright though, no serious injuries.

It is 5:21 and 104 degrees on my back porch. Hello, Summer!

It's 8:45a and 67 degrees, cloudy this morning too!

It's 3:29p and 82 degrees, still partly cloudy.

Got some rain over night, now just mostly cloudy. Getting more humid too!

It's 8:58a and 75 degrees.

2:30 PM in northeastern South Carolina

Temp is 93 degrees. Predicted high today = 98 degress

and it is not August yet!
