Here in the corner of Southeast Alabama, it's 2:45 am. Temperature is 72 degrees and cloudy (no clear skies again). Weather forecast shows rain just to the west of Dothan.
Hi fellow Chattanoogan . It has been raining for the past 4 days and looks like Monday will will be the first dry . I will let use my boat if need it. LOL![]()
8:40am- overcast and 94 degrees. The high today is supposed to be 113 degrees. But, as everyone likes to say, "It's a dry heat!"
I haven't posted on this thread for awhile for fear of sounding like a broken record. Every day has been in the 100's, with many days over 107 or so. And it will be like this for the next several months. Well, it IS Phoenix!!
The dry heat part is very true. The humidity is very low, so you don't get that wet blanket, sweaty feeling. However, you certainly feel the intensity of the sun's rays burning into your skin as soon as you step outside.
For the record, I shall not complain. The three other seasons are beautiful out here! I definitely enjoy the winters more than the summers, though!![]()

The heatwave here has temporarily broken. It's 82 degrees (but feels like 85) here in the Philadelphia area. We're going back up into the 90s tomorrow. It's 1:53 p.m.
