Not much change here. Still hot, windy and dry. Oh and we now have our 19th fire of the year burning.

Predicted high today was supposed to be 72.

11:13am and the temp is already 73.

Since Friday we have had over 4 inches of rain. It pooled so much it went into my Florida room, my rug is soaked.

Today it's mostly cloudy and 78.

Trust me, we could use it here. We had a slight chance for rain yesterday. All the clouds brought us was just more wind, NO RAIN and LIGHTNING (last thing we need in our drought stricken state) which sparked wild fires #20, 21, 22, 23 and 24. 4 of these 5 new fires were contained pretty quickly. One has turned into another major forest fire making a total of 4 major fires currently burning. I can see 3 of them on a daily basis. Well I can see the huge smoke plumes on a daily basis.

Winds should be calmer today, but it's going to be a very hot day today. Several of the Southern Cities will reach over 100 today. Where I live will hit 100 and where I work will hit 95. Well above our average temps for this time of the year.

Currently 85 degrees at 12 noon.

Yup! More rain coming, I am for some water so I don't have to water the lawn or gardens. But this is crazy! I guess as long as the weekend turns out nice it's ok.
