Getting some much needed rain here. Been raining for a good 2 hours straight. Good soaking rain. Definitely help our drought situation. Its actually pretty cool outside as well.

Summer in Southern Arizona...every day tops out well over a hundred degrees with lots of sunshine. It's also the time of year when the monsoons hit and we get rain and overcast days. The humidity is also higher than normal (which isn't really that high compared with other areas of the country). We really haven't gotten a lot of rain, but when it does rain, it comes down in buckets and causes flooding. Sometimes roads can be completely flooded out, causing drivers to find another way to get to where they're going. It can be quite frightening actually!

I'll be glad when the monsoons leave and we return to uneventful weather! Funny, though, but even after only a couple days of overcast skies and I miss the sun! It's the rare day that the sun doesn't appear around here!

8:50am here in Vancouver BC and 15C (that's 60F), going up to a high of 25C (80F). We're on day 31 of straight sunshine!!! Practically unheard of here in the pacific northwest!

60 degrees here thank goodness at 11:50 pm. So nice to have cool but not too cool nights. Might finally start to get more sleep again...

Forecast to hit 65-70ish tomorrow then up to 75 later in the week. I just hope the humidity here blows over, it sucks without having a nice air conned store to run into to cool off, especially on a night!

Welcome back! Glad you had a good time. We are headed home to VWL on the 19th.

As for the weather, drizzle here and 73. Could be worse. Yesterday was lovely, had to go to the hamptons to re-qaulify and the weather was gorgeous. Roof completely off the jeep and my tubular doors.

Thanks! We leave on the 15th for a short visit, bringing DD she hasn't been in a while.


It has been nice around here too! Today is really nice just a few puffy clouds, a nice top down/off jeep day here! To bad I have to work, will be out and about tomorrow!

1.35 am here and its 60 degrees. Forecast says 70 highs for tomorrow but I think its about 85 in my room right now... I'd open a window but there is a 50/50 chance of something crawling through it. I'm still traumatised from the spider dropping in front of my face then lap at 2am coming back from my bathroom...
