What time is early walk-off?

Hi all - we will be on the Fantasy next month sailing out of Port Canaveral. If we walk-off with our bags ourselves in the morning, what time would we potentially get to the airport if we just grab a cab? Sorry - I can't remember how early we can get off the ship. There's a 10:45 flight that's non-stop but I'm worried that we might be pushing it. All of the other flights will get us back several hours later and have to stop somewhere. I don't want to push it but I also remember on our last cruise getting to the airport much earlier than I thought we would. Thanks!

I would say a 10:45 am flight is too early. Not up on the latest suggestions but Disney used to say no flights before Noon. Our own experience is we barely made a 12:45 pm flight. The disembarkation process was easy, the Disney transportation great, but MCO is a mess. Last time I was through MCO was 4 years ago for a WDW vacation and it was strongly suggested then you be at MCO 3 hours before your flight.

Usually express walk-off starts about 7:30, assuming no delays. I would not rely on grabbing a cab at PC, you would want to pre-arrange transportation. It's about an hour to the airport and regular security can be VERY long. Do you have TSA pre-check? I am not sure I would chance a 10:45.

We twice did a 10:30 direct flight. The first time, everything went smoothly and we had to wait a while in the terminal. The second time, we had car trouble and barely made check-in time. It was stressful to say the least. After that, we decided to never fly out before 12:30.

It really is hit or miss.
But Disney's recommendation is not to book anything before noon.

We have done express walk and been in our car by 7:45 and we have been delayed with unforeseen circumstances and didn't get off until after 9am.

We did a merrytime cruise in 2016. Disembarkation did not happen until almost 11 am. Everyone had to vacate their rooms and we were just waiting around all the public areas until the port cleared is. I know it was a fluke, but there were a lot of stressed out people worried about their flights.
