what time for ohana dinner?

I'm planning on an Ohana dinner on my disneymoon and then walking down to the poly beach to watch wishes. I was wondering what time this would be best, if anyone's ever done it before. Wishes is scheduled at 9. We've never done ohana before so i'm not sure how long it take or how easy it is to find our way down the beach area afterwards...any advice? Thanks!

That's my plan also. I'm going with a 6:45 ressie. That's factoring in a slight wait, dinner and time for the kids to get into the games and such. We take O'hana's at a crawl otherwise all that meat will come back to haunt us. LOL Good luck!!!

We did this last year and we went for about 630 so we could see the electrical water pageant and then see the fireworks.

As a PP said, 6:45 or even 6:30 if the fireworks are at 9:00.

Ohana's is a wonderful meal and I highly recommend it, but it can take a very long time to eat there. Both times we ate there in 2008, our meals took nearly 2 1/2 hours.
