What time for Ohana Breakfast?

Should we go early to Ohana character breakfast or go later in the morning so the big meal will last us all day? Then we would spend the day at MK.

(Last time we went (3 years ago) someone suggested going later to Chef Mickey's and we had the characters all to ourselves at the end)?

We went early - our reservation was 7:30 and we checked in 10 mins early. They did a nice little welcome song at 7:30 (I guess that's when they open). We were at the first table near the door where the characters come out... and we were done eating and had met all the characters by 8 am, and were in front of MK by 8:30! We did miss the little parade they do, though (8:15). We weren't hungry until after 1 pm, we were stuffed

We prefer to do Ohana for breakfast late. We usually fly in early, check in, hit the park, then relax and have a late breakfast at Ohana. That usually keeps us pretty filled till our early dinner, then we crash and sleep. Any time we do a character meal for breakfast, we always try to get one of the last seatings. Gives us more time with the characters, and we don't feel like we have to rush to the parks since we have already been then.
