My mom wants to treat us to the Pirates and Pals cruise 
At this point, I'm thinking of doing this on a non-park day and am considering 'Ohana for this night. I'd like to time things well so we are not stuck waiting for hours for the cruise, but I don't want to feel rushed during dinner, too.
I have a few questions:
1. What time should I make the ADR for? We will be there in late-August, so the fireworks will be at 10:00 most nights, but there were some 9:00 fireworks during our week in 2013 too.
2. How tough do you think it would be to get back to our resort by Disney transport? We will be at POFQ, so would monorail to MK/bus back to our resort take forever after the cruise? Do you think it would be < $15 for a taxi back to our resort from the contemporary?
3. When booking the Cruise, is it similar to the +10 for dining, or do I have to wait until exactly 180 days before?
